I think we can all agree that reading slumps are one of the worst things a bookworm can experience. There is nothing more frustrating than having a whole stack of books to get through, but simply not having enough motivation to get through those books. I’ve been in a bit of a reading slump lately, and have a tendency to start books without finishing them. I’ve created a little list of things that have worked for me in the past, and may assist you in getting out of your own reading slump.
If you have tried a few of these methods listed above, and found that you’re still stuck in a reading slump, remember that sometimes it’s best not to force it. There will be times when you’re in the mood for reading, and times when you don’t feel very motivated, and that’s okay. I leave you with a few quotes that I turn to whenever I feel myself stuck in a bit of a rut. “Do what feels right for you.
